According to a June 16, 2025, report from Instrument.com, China's mass spectrometry market showed vigorous growth in the first quarter of 2025. Over 260 purchasing units bought a total of 392 sets of mass spectrometers, with a transaction volume exceeding 830 million yuan. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) dominated the market with 151 units, accounting for approximately 38.5% of total purchases. In terms of total bidding amounts by brand, foreign brands led the market: Thermo Fisher topped the list with 150 million yuan (18% share), while domestic enterprises like Zhongyuan Huiji and Antu Biotech followed closely, accelerating the process of domestic substitution.
