The WSB Series Whiteness Meters operate on the principle of photoelectric conversion. Utilizing analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion circuitry, they measure radiant luminance energy reflected from the surface of a sample. This signal is amplified, converted via A/D, processed, and finally displays the corresponding whiteness value. These instruments are primarily designed for measuring the whiteness of white and near-white objects or powder surfaces，accurately providing whiteness values consistent with visual perception. The whiteness formula used is: Blue Light Whiteness WB=R457. Complies with China National Standards including GB2913, GB5950, GB8940.1, GB12097, and GB13025.2.
