The WSB Series Whiteness Meters operate on the principle of photoelectric conversion. Utilizing analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion circuitry, they measure radiant luminance energy reflected from the surface of a sample. This signal is amplified, converted via A/D, processed, and finally displays the corresponding whiteness value. These instruments are primarily designed for measuring the whiteness of white and near-white objects or powder surfaces,accurately providing whiteness values consistent with visual perception.
